For every type of spill, spot clean your rug with a cotton cloth or paper towel. Use a blotting motion, working from the edges to the center of the spill. Use a solution of dish soap and cold water to lift deeper residue. For further cleaning you can machine wash your rug. Your rug should be the only item in the drum and arranged evenly. Do not use detergent. Wash and then hang the rug on a clothesline or over the back of a chair to dry.
